Business school programs are some of the most popular in today’s educational environment, both at the graduate and undergraduate level. MBAs are commonly sought-after by graduates seeking to advance their Bachelor’s degrees in a variety of fields for added leverage in their prospective careers. The popularity of these programs does not indicate attainability; MBA programs are difficult to gain acceptance to and require a great deal of hard work to earn.
In recent years, the necessity of an MBA has not lessened in the economic climate; it may have become even more of an asset in an economy where job positions are being flooded with viable, experienced candidates. However, there has been a reported decrease in the number of applicants for full-time graduate business school programs. Part-time MBA applicants have maintained their previous reported rates.
