Marine Corps Tuition Assistance – A Brief Summary

Enlisting in any branch of the United States Military is not a decision that should be taken lightly. For starters, there are a number of different areas in which you could serve, each with their own set of rules, regulations, benefits, and rewards. While all branches of the military have programs set in place to afford servicepeople with financial assistance for a college education, the selection of which branch to enlist in should be made with other factors, such as the responsibilities of the servicemen, in mind. The Marine Corps, a branch controlled by the United States Navy, offers a comprehensive package of educational financial assistance to those who enlist, but also requires a great deal of physical and mental strength during active duty.

Marine Corps servicemen and women receive financial assistance for off-duty, voluntary education. The package covers a large portion of tuition and fees, but will not pay for all student costs, such as books.
